Objectives

• To prepare socially responsive secondary school teachers capable of responding to the changing needs of modern Indian society. 

• To enable them to understand the process of socialization.

• To acquaint them with educational needs of specific groups of pupils

• To enable them to utilize community resources as educational inputs.

• To develop communication skill and use modern information and communication technology for school purposes.

• To develop awareness about role of education and to sensitize pupil teacher towards emerging issues.

• To enable student teachers to act as agents of social change and become custodians of institutions’ rich academic, curricular heritage.

• To create prospective teachers having pedagogical, curricular competencies and skilled in transaction, evaluation process.
